The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu and Kashmir is entrusted with the responsibility of Information dissemination related to the Union Territory of J&K. It serves as a bridge between the government, citizens, media and other stakeholders, helping to foster greater transparency, engagement and understanding.

The Department has pioneered the use of contemporary digital communication & social media through its presence on all major platforms. Through this new-age communication strategy, the Department has launched the popular programmes “The Beats of J&K” (a studio based music platform) & “InspireGenZ” (a talk show) both of which are aimed at engaging with youth.

InspireGenZ is for the youth, of the youth & by the youth programme aimed at hosting motivational conversations with Jammu & Kashmir's prominent achievers and change-makers. Their stories of success and struggle can act as a model for young men and women of Jammu & Kashmir. InspireGenZ is a democratic, non discriminatory, accessible and equitable platform where the role models are chosen from diverse backgrounds.
